It is based on the the Elminister Akira HP Update (barely). System Enhansements/tweaks & ATP features added by me.

4 Forward Firing Arcs. 2 Dorsal, 2 Ventral. Ventral firing arc adjusted so that it can fire directly forward. Manouverability increased. Max turning speed increased Max speed increased Max acceleration increased Reduced repair time Increased system operational times when damaged. Increased torpedo system reload delay. Has the full 15 Torpedo Launchers of the Akira Class. Forward, Port & Starboard Torpedo Launchers have reload delay of 60seconds. Personal Notes

I hope that whoever downloads this mod enjoys it, as i have tryed to keep it fun, whist remaining cannon to ship specs. I spent ages doing research on DITL.org and other sources to get everything perfectly balanced. The Akira class of vessel, acording to Ditl.org ,  is only ment to have 3 phaser arrays, which gives it very limited weapons arcs, so to make up for this, the phasers are slightly stronger and fire for longer. And there are 4 forward firing arcs. Two dorsal, and two ventral. And it has all 15 Torpedo Launchers that its supposed to have.

Constructive critisism about this mod is welcome, as well as suggestions for improvement/s. 

There are many different hardpoint files for the Akira class of ship that are available, my aim is to make this the definative one. The Hardpoint that ends all hardpoints if you will.

Depending on if it is requested by the Bridge Commander Community, or if i decide to do something anyway, then i might consider redoing other popular/stock ships to make them better, and if required by the cannon ship specs, features of ATP2 will also be added to ensure realism.

Installation Instructions
--------------------------

WARNING 1: - YOU MUST HAVE THE LATEST FOUNDATION INSTALLED TO RUN THIS MOD FILE!!!!!

Note: It may work with other Akira Models, but it has only been tested with the P81 Akira Model. It may also work without the ATP2 pack but, it has`nt been tested.

1: Unzip the file to your desktop

2: Open the zip file and select the scripts folder.

3: Copy and Paste them into the main Bridge Commander Directory. (Where you will find the stbc executable)

4: Use the BC-Mod Packager Program to install the TGL file. (If you do not keep the program in your STBC directory, then you need to move the files to the appropriate directory first)

5: ALL DONE!!!

Note: You do not need to use the BC-Mod Packager program to install the ships, It should already do it for you, if it fails, then use the program to install the ships.


Use of this Mod

If you wish to use the files included in this mod to create your own mods, then you are free to do so. You are also free to publically release the files on the condition that you include a credit towards the original creator(Elminster) & me(BoomAM). You do not have to ask permission to release a personal modification of this mod. However i would like to be notified of a released modification, purely for my own interest.

1) 1DeadlySAMURAI, for fixing a error in the HP for me, fixing a weapons problem, for making the Tactical Display, and fixing some major phaser arc problems for me in MPE. This guy is a great help.

4) The creator of the ATP2, cos without ATP2, alot of this mod wouldnt have been possible.

Future Releases.
----------------
An updated V2.0 of this mod that fixes any other bugs, balances anything that needs rebalancing, and adds support for ATP 3.0 & adds shuttle launch support.


Errors & Problems
-----------------

If you have any problems using this mod, then contact me at the e-mail address or via the ICQ number listed above, remembering to state that you are enquiring about one of my mods in the subject header. If the problem is slowdown with your graphics, then you need to tone down your graphics settings, the ship in this mod tend to flood the area with alot torpedoes, so it will get pretty chaotic, and not all systems will be able to handle it. To increase your frame rates in Bridge Commander, i reccommened reducing the visable damage to low, as it is less detail for your system to render, and doesnt remove much from the realism of the game.
