File Description

The Connie pack is out and the Damaged Connie wouldn't be complete without its nemesis. So here it is: The Planet Killer. The Doomsday Machine. Almost impossible to kill by TOS vessels, you'll need 4 or 5 TNG strong ships to destroy this thing...if you're lucky. The game AI doesn't manage huge ships very well, so it's better to steer this thing yourself.

Planet Killer

This machine was believed to have originated from another galaxy; a weapon of mass destruction turned loose by one side in a massive war. Its outer surface is made out of pure neutronium, completely impenetrable to the weapons of the 23rd Century. It was armed only with an anti-proton beam and the debris of the planets that it destroyed and consumed fueled it. While not a biological creature, it is theorized that the device might have been at least partially aware of its surroundings, making it an artificial life form. The only known example of this terrible creation was destroyed in 2267 when Captain James T. Kirk rammed the USS Constellation into the maw of the Planet Killer. The detonation of the Constellation's fusion reactors stopped the vessel. It is unknown if there are any more out there.
