This is the latest version of the Excalibur bridge, as released with Kobayashi Maru 1.0. This mod comes as a .EXE installer. So all the hard work is done for you. The new version includes a lot of changes. Firstly the mesh was updated to fulfil modern standards, particular attention was paid to the floor and command furniture. Next the Textures were almost completely replaced, and new light maps were rendered for the majority of the objects on the bridge using the latest light mapping techniques. Finally the bridge had new animations added to make them compatible with mesh changes.
This will be an excellent set for those of you looking for something out of the ordinary.

Excalibur Refit Bridge (v3.1) Background The Excalibur class bridge is based on the hugely popular fan fiction of the USS Excalibur. The Excalibur was originally modelled and released by LC Amaral in 2003 and remained largely untouched until 2007 when it was given a massive refit ready for the Kobayashi Maru 1.0 multiplayer modification. The refit included many model changes along side completely new lightmaps and new textures, the bridge was the first released to have all its lightmaps rendered using a more powerful rendering engine, and as such lighting on the bridge has been hugely improved.
