This is a beta version of the eximius refit. This will enhance the Eximiuss sensors, power systems, and equip the Eximius with a slipstream drive. In succeeding versions, the goal of the modification will remain the same, but will be smoothing a few things out and taking into account any suggestions made. This is my first actual mod, the first of many I hope. I intend to eventually make whole ship models, but I have no clue how to do that at the moment. Anyway, enjoy.
This modification/addon used Cleeves Eximius class from staryards.com . Used USS Soveriegns tutorial on how to equip slipstream drive to ships. Title: Eximius Refit Author: Jason Burn BC username: Jaydinator Used mpe to edit the ship. Original Eximius Readme included August 28, 2008 This is not the final version but it works very well. Eventually I may add more to the description. This requires USS Soveriegns Slipstream Framework to work. Also needs Foundation and the Eximius Class or just KM1.0. This download will overwrite any ship named Eximiuss hps. What it does: it contains new hp script files and ship script files that equip the eximius with a slipstream drive. Also, certain stats are boosted to compensate for the ships longer range and higher speed. The sensor system has been enhanced, a change that will not affect the game unless you are using Galaxy Charts. The sensors draw more power now, so the warp core was enhanced as well. Overwrites original hps and all pyc and py files associated with the eximius. No glitches known, but you still may want to back up your eximius files, especially if you use km1.0 since this replaces the hp that km1.0 had with Cleeves hps+my additions. The Km1.0 eximius had photons as well as quantums. This only has quantums (Could be mistaken on that though). May change in next version. Do not use in your own publication until you have permission from first Cleeve than me. Its originally his, so I can't say yes unless he has said yes. Directions: Simply place the script folder in the BC directory.
