File Description

An Excelsior from the same time period of the Dignity Class. There are two versions included - cruiser (exploration) and battlecruiser (patrol and escort duties). This ship uses the recently developed Shockwave torpedo Mk2, which like it's predecessor will send your enemies spinning around AND drain 5% of all their shields with each hit. The torpedo itself does 1000 damage.

A future model of the classic Excelsior, the "D" version dates from the same period of the Dignity Class.
The cruiser type is a light tactical explorer while the heavier armored, more powerful battlecruiser type patrols the Federation's borders for pirates and other menaces. The Excelsior is also frequently seen escorting bigger ships in dangerous missions, like the U.S.S. Jean Luc Picard.

4 Type-XIII Phaser Arrays (2fpa/2fsa)
8 Torpedo Launchers (2f/2p/2s/2a) – Shockwave Mk2 torpedo
1 Pulse Phaser Cannons (1f)
4 Shuttles

This ship uses the Shockwave Mk2 Torpedo, a powerful weapon that produces subspace distortions around the targeted ship, causing it to spin out of control for a while. Very useful if you don’t want the enemy ships pointing their guns at you. It'll also drain the target's shield at a rate of 5% plus 1000 damage per hit.

The Shockwave Mk2 Torpedo is a variation of edtheborg’s script for the Repulsion Torpedo and the Hyperion Torpedo included in the FTA v2.0

REQUIREMENTS:

- Some scripts of the FTA v2.0 (Future Tech Add) for the Shockwave Mk2 torpedo to work (included)
- QBAutostart and Tech Framework to launch shuttles - http://defiant.homedns.org/~erik/STBC/

Installation order:

- FTA v2.0 (if you don’t have it already)
- Ship
