Description:

This hardpoint attempts to get a balance between CaptainBryan's P81Sovereign Hardpoint and the C2 Galaxy Hardpoint in the areas of weapons, speed, manuevering, and power.

So far, it can take a beating from three C2 Warbirds and 1 P81 Ambassador for several minutes before going up in flames.

This hardpoint comes in two types, blinking and non-blinking The blinking version has the NanoFX lights, the non-blinking is self-explanitory.

Technical Details

Tested in BC version 1.1
Because this is still in a beta "WIP" stage, there may be some things that are not quite right. I shall attempt to improve the HP as time allows.

Fixes
~~~~~~~~~
* Engine power is more balanced, so you do not have to nurse the Engineering Console nearly as much. The Engine Balance tool was of no help, but it was not a total loss either. It took a little fiddling with the warp core figures of CaptainBryan's Sovereign Hardpoint to get this result.
* I have increased the power cost of some systems to make the balance look better. And as a compensate, since the ship is as big as a Galaxy if not a little bigger, I have reduced its speed and maneuverability so it is only a little better than a Galaxy (I hope).

Known Bugs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
* The Quantum Torpedo Turret still relies on a pulse weapon script. As such, it cannot be replaced with an actual torpedo tube without redoing the entire hardpoint.


Install Instructions
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1) Open the folder of the type of hardpoint you want.
2) Drag and drop the folder inside into your Bridge Commander root directory and click "yes" when asked if you want to overwrite.
3) Launch BC then go into Quick Battle or QBR to test it out.

At this time I am also working on other hardpoint mods. I am considering a Defiant hardpoint to make players watch their aft more often. Also, I have modified the ZZ_QuantumPS script which governs the Mnemosyne's Quantum Turret missiles. This may be released if I can get permission to include it with a future mod.
