Description

The Laxson Class was a late 23rd Century Escort and Frigate.


This mod has been updated per the notes below:


Updated 2023-07-11 by MSR1701 with the following changes:

- Used Projectile Script "Photon 4"for compatibility with REv1.2

- used SFX script "TMP Phaser" for compatibility with RE v1.2

- Plugin updated to load ship under "TMP Ships"

No other changes were effected to the model, textures and scripts on this update.

To Install:

Copy the folders for the version you wish to install (KM or Remastered Version) into the root install folder of your game install (the folders "Data," "Scripts," and/or "SFX" (the latter may not always be in a given mod). Then run the game, and your ships should load in QuickBattle!

====Starforce Productions Laxson====

The ashton is a ship slightly newer than the Miranda but a bit smaller, more of a light escort ship that could fit between the Excelcior and Ambassador eras. It is fast with stronger phasers and a pair of Foreward facing canons that fire more TNG era beams. Each Phaser cannon does 300 damage. This Means it can do up to 900 Damage foreward. This ship does not have the large deflector array, cargobay, and secondary hull like the ashton. It is slightly less powerful in shielding because of that.


What's new with Laxson 3.0 Final?


1) High res GAFY? Style textures
2) Ventral aft phasers removed
3) Instrument bays removed
4) New Tac Icon
5) Various HP tweaks


This will likely be the last time I redo this ship, I can't see it being enhanced much further without a complete rebuild.
