Here are the Cylon Basestar and Raider from the Newer Battlestar Galactica Series. The basestar is over 5 km in length and holds over 250 raiders. These ships are normally armed with several nuclear missiles and other smaller weapons such as larger projectile weapons. These ships are mainly designed as carriers and to deliver large scale strikes against planetary targets or capital ships such as the Battlestar Galactica or similar.
The Cylon Raider is approximately 30m long and 18 m wide, this ship would be no match for any capital ships, although this is similar in size to that of the Colonial Viper. The Raider like the Viper can also fly in an atmosphere and is usually armed with nuclear weapons, high explosive projectile weapons and armour piercing rounds.
Unfortunately these ships do not have any hardpoints and cannot be used within the game.
Cylon vessels: A Conversion by Starforce2 OUTALANCE SHIPYARDS Base Star Class : Heavy Carrier Owner : Cylon Military Length: 5,100m ----------- These starfaring behemoths are the principal expression of Cylon power throughout known space. A Base Star can dwarf the Battlestar Galactica. In fact, these gargantuan battle carriers overmatch the Galactica in nearly every tactical respect. Base Star's are designed to make hyperlight Jumps and equipped to deploy large-scale strikes with high yield nuclear ordnance. They carry at least 250 Raider fighters on their exterior service pods, and an indeterminate number of additional fighters inside. Unknown at this time is whether the Base Star contain manufacturing facilities to replenish their complement of Raiders. No estimates of crew complement of Base Star's are currently available. Although the staggering number of Raiders they can deploy on a momment's notice suggests an enormous crew, our intelligence specialists have cautioned that much of the Base Star's internal workings might be automated. Raider Class : Fighter Owner : Cylon Military Length: 29.34' Width : 18.33' Height: 5' ----------- Information is scarce about this obiquitous cylon fighter. The Raider is extremely fast and as manueverable as the Viper. Another trait that is dangerous craft shares with the Viper is the ability to operate within various atmospheres. It packs a serious punch, too; its standard armaments include armour-piercing and high explosive projectile weapons, and tactical nuclear ordinance for stategic bombing. Pilots have confirmed that Raiders can execute hyperlight Jumps and seem to be highly accurate at rapid Jump calculations that exceed the capabilities of Colonial technology. Pressing questions about the Raider remain unanswered. Pilots have reported that Raiders are unmanned. Are they directed remotely? Or do they contain highly sophisticated computer guidance systems? How are they manufactured? While mankind searches and scrapes for spare parts, Raiders seem to roll from a nonstop assembly line. ----------- Author : ModelsPlease Mesh and textures : Ancient Angel Converted to SFC by : ModelsPlease Source information : SCIFI.com - Battlestar Galactica (Now the legal Stuff) Creative Commons Creative Commons Legal Code Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.5 CREATIVE COMMONS CORPORATION IS NOT A LAW FIRM AND DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES.
