NEW DAMAGE FILES FOR STAR TREK: BRIDGE COMMANDER (Retail Version) Created by R.L.U. 3-26-02 Version 1b (Flames & Explosions) **Requested File** ----------------------------------------------------------------- What are these files? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These files REPLACE the original "Damage" files that come with Bridge commander. The Damage files are the textures you see when you are destroying an enemy ship. [I.E.: The "insides" or "guts" of the ship like the decks/corridors.] This is the Flames & Explosions version someone e-mailed me about. I think that there are a little too many explosions but the damage texture files are only four frames and you either have to make a lot of explosions or none at all becase only a few flames & explosions seems fake and un-natural. How do I use them? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Extract these files into [Program Files Activision Bridge Commander data] It will ask you if you wanna overwrite the already existing files. It's okay to do it. I've included the original Damage files in this zipped file. They are labeled "Damage1.0ld", "Damage2.0ld", "Damage3.0ld", and "Damage4.0ld". All you have to do to restore them is to rename the file extension from "old" to "tga". That's It!! Enjoy!! I welcome any feedback: [email protected]
