These are new shield textures and weapons textures made by: sovereign001

The shield texture is a bubble made to be almost the same as the "first contact" one.

The tng phaser, is just like the one we saw in "message in a bottle" You can use this phaser texture also for the ENT-era.

These should be different, for different eras, so you can tell real quickly , which era you got (when your flying a fleet).

Reading the Readme file (included) is a Must.

These are new shieldtextures and weapons textures made by me, moi ;)


The shieldtexture is a nice kind of a bubble made to be almost the same as the first contact one.
The phaser texture of tmp is nice flat and yellow(i think, im colorblind) 
The tng,... is just like the one we saw in message in a bottle being fired by the nebula in the prometheus in warp.
You can use this phaser textures also for the ENT-area..

Installation
---------------

The shieldtexture is the sphere.tga and cut and paste this in your bridge commander map in data.
Back-up your old one if you dont like this one!

The weapons texture are more difficult!

TMP PHASERS

Take a ship that you want to outfitt with the new weapons texture, lets say, the reliant of tmp.
It uses probaly the phaserpulse A and B, well take mine and overwrite them.
Then go to the script file of the ship and enter the following in the phasers...
this is for the lets say ventral phaser a
.SetInnerCoreColor(kColor)
.SetNumSides(6)
.SetMainRadius(0.010000)
.SetTaperRadius(0.010000)
.SetCoreScale(0.500000)
.SetTaperRatio(0.250000)
.SetTaperMinLength(5.000000)
.SetTaperMaxLength(15.000000)
.SetLengthTextureTilePerUnit(0.050000)
.SetTextureSpeed(1.000000)
.SetTextureName("data/PhaserPulseA.tga")

for ventral phaser b, just do the same but add by texture name PhaserPulseB

as sound you just take what you want, the best is the tmp phaser sound i guess :)

Take a ship that you want to outfitt with the new weapons texture, lets say, a nebula class of the CR package
It uses eum i think the dur_phaser?
Well take mine but change the new phaser's change in the old phaser name
Go then to the script of the ship you want to change.
and change the following
.SetNumSides(6)
.SetMainRadius(0.060000)
.SetTaperRadius(0.020000)
.SetCoreScale(0.300000)
.SetTaperRatio(0.250000)
.SetTaperMinLength(30.000000)
.SetTaperMaxLength(30.000000)
.SetLengthTextureTilePerUnit(0.050000)
.SetPerimeterTile(1.000000)
.SetTextureSpeed(2.000000)
.SetTextureName("data/(fill the name in of the new phaser.tga")

oke if you did this, and everything was fine take the ships you changed and fight!

if you didnt liked it and you backed everything up then just change and you have your old files!
