temeraire.rar —
This has been in my "to do" folder for a while now, its basically a re-imagined resolute class. For starters the whole model has been redone except for the base saucer. Next there is a completly new texture set, and finally there is a new HP (including nanoFX blinkers) and new weapons.
The Temeraire was a prototype vessel which was intended to fill the much needed role of diplomatic carrier. The prototype carried a new shield generator system which was stronger then the older generators (first seen on NCC-05) but required much longer loading times. Other design changes include the development of larger warp engines to enable faster travel (with obvious benefits for diplomatic duties). Tactically the Temeraire has less weapons then the NX Refit, however its defense systems are far superior.
Since I worked on this I'll leave the rating to you guys.
USS Temeraire Contact: mark dot ward at gmail dot com Credits: Based on "USS Resolute" mesh by Azel/Atolm MajorRacal and Starship Premonition. Textures by Mark Hardpoint and weapons by Mark Requirements: NanoFX2 Beta Tested in BC1.1 with KM1.0 About the ship: Named after the HMS Temeraire (which fought at the battle of trafalgar along side the Victory), the Temeraire was a prototype vessel which was intended to fill the much needed role of diplomatic carrier. After testing the Temeraire was scrapped in favour of a less complex hull configuration. The Temeraire was years ahead of its time, and the Hull configuration was not revisited until the development of the infamous Constitution class, more than 60 years later.
