Left by an ancient race we Know very little about, we do know (from this example) that they technically are equal to that of Federation in tractor beams, but not in weapons or shielding. From the report of Capt. Hint: keep an eye on your distance. and your sensors Many of you might say "the tractors are to weak, or they activate to close to the QuanTar" Well, consider this if they activated at a much greater distance, they wouldn't be a very effective trap (not much of a threat for Federation ships of the line, but Very bad for merchant ships) Enjoy.
