The ship is 25% smaller than a Galaxy class, but slightly newer than the Sov. The nacelles are a form of Fed Trans-warp resulting from Janeway tech, hence they are blue (not borg-bout time the feds made their own sh*t). The ship is classified as a heavy explorer/prototype, has high hull integrity and heavy phasers ringing the saucer.
You need BCMP to install this into your game. Very fun ship to play around in, although perhaps odd looking ;)
====Starforce Productions Tempest==== Credits: Design and model: Atolm Texture modifications: Smiley Conversion and hp: Starforce2 About the ship: The ship is 25% smaller than a Galaxy class, but slightly newer than the Sov. The nacelles are a form of Fed Trans-warp resulting from Janeway tech, hence they are blue (not borg-bout time the feds made their own sh*t). The ship is classified as a heavy explorer/prototype, has high hull integrity and heavy phasers ringing the saucer. Q-torp turret is under the saucer, fires 8 total from 2 tubes, and 6 from a single aft tube. This will allow people who understand how to make torpedo spreads to allow fwd torpedo to fire in pairs. Also uses high yeild shielding. This ship acn take a beating. The Prototype does not feature phasers in locations other than the saucer, however you could add 2 short burst phasers to the dorsal area of the nacelles as there are markings on the textures that could be phaserbanks but the saucer arcs already cover that area so I left them alone (plus there's no ventral mates which would make sense). If this ship ever recieves improved textures with additional weapons I'll update the release. Weapons: Q torps only, 8 fore and 6 aft saucer 5x dorsal 4x ventral 1500 damage phaser strips. Fore and aft tractor Note, your ventral phasers are the incomplete ring on the tac icon. The complete ring (inner) is the dorsals. It's opposite how I normaly do it. Bugs-Well, I've noticed my geforce 3 locks up if I run with anisotropic filtering. Could be my card (fan is dead) getting hot, my new drivers, or the high res textures on the ship, so you may want to try with slightly lower than normal settings untill you know how your system will react. Those with ubercards can probably ignore this message. I don't believe the ship is very high on the poly, I think it's midrange. You need something called QuantumTorpedo.py in your projectiles folder. The file is a stock script. As long as you have not removed or cahnged the name, this will use whatever Q torp you have installed, however it was tested with 1000 damage Quantums.
