This mod removes the 'over the top' sway of all the American weapons and ups the damage and accuracy of them so that the days of missing your target at three feet are over. The damage levels are now realistic; as in real life, when you are shot in the head or in the upper torso region by any weapon, you die!
Note: The German weapons are not effected. If you wish to change these, refer to the readme.
Pale Rider has stated that he usually only mods games for his own personal use, however, as he has heard a lot of complaints and general unhappiness concerning the amount of sway in the weapons, and the lack of damage inflicted when shooting an enemy...he has decided to make this particular mod available for the whole Earned in Blood community! ...Ansd I, for one, am happy that he did! Now you'll have to excuse, I've got some gaming to do!
This mod removes the 'over the top' sway of all the American weapons and ups the damage and accuracy of them so that the days of missing your target at three feet are over. The damage levels are now realistic; as in real life, when you are shot in the head or in the upper torso region by ANY weapon, you die -- full stop, the end, good night! Never mind all these 13 year old clowns stating in the forums that they have fired real weapons and that the game is realistic. Trust me, they haven't and it ain't! I usually only modify games for my own personal use, but I just thought I'd share this one with the community as the net is replete with moanings about the sway and accuracy/damage of the weapons in this one. It does make the game easier, so if you don't want that, don't install. INSTRUCTIONS Copy the 'gbxInventory.u' file into the game's System folder, and you're done (Back up the original one first if you want to revert to the defaults). The German weapons remain at their defaults. If you wish to modify those as well, install the SDK, copy the enclosed 'gbxInventory' FOLDER into the game's main directory (backup the one that the SDK puts there, if you wish) and edit the required weapon files within. You must then run the 'uccdepend.exe'(installed as part of the SDK)in the System folder which will compile and add any changes to the 'gbxInventory.u' file, so that the game can read them. Once you have finished modding, you can uninstall the SDK if you want, as the game will still read from your modified 'gbxInventory.u' file. The EiB folder contains the same file and folder for Earned in Blood. Pale Rider
