BFE to Host Epic 24-Hour Battle!

This weekend Battle For Europe brings you the ultimate event in endurance gaming. Forever pushing the boundaries in our innovated and novel tournament concept, this weekend we're set to raise the bar once again by doubling our massive 12-hour battles to a colossal 24-hour frag fest. As with our regular battles, we're pitting the regiments against each other on our interactive battle map, the 73rd Cavalry regiment will be wrestling with the 246. Panzer Aufklärungs Regiment for control of Athens. The 504th Paratroopers will be charging into Belgrade, defended by the 27. Panzerfüsilier Regiment. Part of the ongoing Allied assault in the Balkans, success for the 73rd and 504th here will clear the Allies a path into Central Europe and give them some needed security in the Mediterranean theatre. Elsewhere the Axis continue their epic counter advancement, the 14th will continue the task of resecuring the Axis starting territories by assaulting Copenhagen. Although held by the crack Allied regiment, the 319th Airborne, the in form 14th could cause a serious upset here. With another months worth of battles ahead the campaign is really beginning to heat up, and the recent Axis resurgence in the past few weeks is starting to be matched by renewed efforts from the Allied command.
