There's a new league coming into being, and it should prove itself to be very secure as far as the concern for cheating is in CoDUO and CoD2. Why? Well, because it operates on an invitation-only system or, more accurately, an review-and-acceptance system. :) It works to filter out the less popular (and therefore less trustworthy) clans by requiring the applications to be reviewed and approved before accepting the clan into the league. Read more into detail below, and click here to check out the website now! ;)
A number of highly rated COD clans in Europe are getting together over at www.ClanBrands.com for a brand new Call of Duty 2 "Anti-Cheat League." Both CoDUO and CoD2 are currently set up and ready for the league. Most of the popular gametypes are available like Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch, and Search and Destroy (all 5v5 teams). Others are available on request. The maps used in the league are the stock maps that come with the game, but we are considering a Custom Map League later using a number of the best custom maps. Various methods and software are being used to keep the league cheat-free and good fun for all. Sign-ups are now being taken. The league is invitation only and open to clans with a good history of fair play. More clans are joining each day. If you are interested in joining, you will need to: 1. Make representation to a clan already registered and ask for a referral, or... 2. Go to the site, and speak to one of the Admins who may be able to direct you further. Most of the clans involved have been around for a while and played in other leagues, so you probably are already familiar with them. -Heefy
