Here's the lastest (and final) update to NDM's extraordinary map, Aberrant Valley. This update features new textures; compatibility with our favorite bot mod, MeatBot 0.7; some important bug and exploit fixes; and a whole lot more! Everything else is still pretty much the same: awesome effects, realistic terrain, compatibility with all the gametypes, and an overall smooth and realistic feel. At the moment, the only problem I see is that the bots can't use the jeeps -- but oh well, it's still an amazing map! Due to some little bugs I heard about, I decided to make this update and in case you like the MeatBot-Mod v.07 (resp. the Add-Ons) I added my own scriptdata file (.wp) so that the bots are now working fine on my map too (they can run now almost everywhere and in all directions)
And I found a way to delete some textures and model-groups without big changes to the map; so I hope there won't be any problems anymore when using my map on a modded server (GFM or extreme) --> if still... then, unfortunately I have absolutely no idea ;-(

Following modifications has been done:
- I removed 27 complete model-groups and 16 textures, to try to avoid the overflow and material error
- Further gridfile adaptations
- Some little map and texture improvements
- Now it is possible to get 1 floor up without using the elevator (jump + mantle)
- There were 2 possibilities to come to Secrete 3...  one was not planned and is now fixed too
- Now, easier access to the shower room by ventilation shaft
- More 'mantle over' positions, e.g. at windows
- Exploit: Upper part of ‘Flak Vierling’ completely clipped now
- Sometimes invisible MG on roof removed (no tag bone error)
- I increased the brightness a little bit (inside / outside)

Controls of the useable vehicles (jeeps):

Hint: When using the bots better don't use the jeeps because, if you park a jeep on a bot route, the bots will try to use the vehicle... and after that try they are simple aims. 
And it depends on the bot number but the destructible street and the jeep at this position can blink!?!

Attention: JEEP --> please be carefully with the jeeps, they don't run perfectly... remember this is no Battlefield! Keep distance to any object and if the jeep is unfavourably parked it is possible to get trapped.


--> To install and play this map read first item 6, then use WINZIP or WINRAR and extract the above mentioned iwd-FILE to your Call of Duty 2/main folder. That's it! ? --> in case of bad gameplay [FPS] use lower graphic settings or/and directx7!
--> To install the BOT waypoint-file, the mod must be already installed --> copy the file mp_anomaly_tdm.wp simply into the scriptdata folder of the mbot-mod (.../Call of Duty 2/mbot/scriptdata/), where the other .wp-files are located.

If you get the modelindex_overflow ERROR try first without any mods or custom maps.
If you get the IWD_SUM_MISMATCH - ERROR while loading this map, delete some other custom maps and/or change the mp_config (seta_sv pure &quot;0&quot;)!
If you get the CL_PARSE_GAMESTATE:BAD COMMAND BYTE - ERROR delete some mods and/or use the 1.3 Patch for COD2.
If you get a Script_Runtime Error (e.g. jeep) remove other custom maps or mods and be sure to switch the developer mod off (type in mp console--> /developer 0 and press enter).
If you get a 'More than 1024 Materials' Error, e.g. when trying to play S&D, remove other custom maps
