And in the footsteps of Giancarlo and Aeneas2020, AceofSpades has produced his own US Airborne skins by the request of many players in the community. Who's to say which ones are best? Why, you, of course. :) This one seems to be focused more on realism than the others, but they all retain their own unique and appealing looks (within the confines of US Airborne uniforms, naturally). Anyway, read the list of features below for AceofSpades' vision for the popular Airborne skins, check out the screenshots below, and download these today! :D
- 506th Spade stencils on helmet
- Added 101st Eagle to shoulder
- Changed the boots and leggings to look more like paratrooper jump boots
- Added chest and lower pockets on jacket
- Added elbow and knee patches
- Changed the color of the trousers for realism
- Changed the haversack to look more like a Mussette bag
- Changed the scabbard to resemble the M6 scabbard the paratroopers used
- Changed the color of the assault vest to khaki
Thanks for downloading AceofSpades' Airborne skin Beta. After countless German custom skins I've recieved a request to take a shot at an Airborne skin. Well here it is, it's only Beta version so changes will be made in a future update; with the help of suggestions of course! This skin includes: -506th Spade stencils on helmet. -Added 101st Eagle to shoulder -Changed the boots and leggings to look more like Paratrooper jump boots. -Added chest and lower pockets on Jacket, added elbow and knee patches, and changed the color of the trousers to look more like a M42 Paratrooper Uniform. -Changed the haversack to look more like a Mussette bag (although only half convincing due to the models... Release the SDK Infinity Ward!). - Changed the scabbard to resemble the M6 scabbard the Paratroopers used. -Changed the color of the Assault vest to Khaki to make it look more like it's a regular M42 Paratrooper jacket (once again, only half effective due to the model itself. Installation: Extract Zip folder in your COD2 Main folder. If there's any problems or suggestions email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Skin dedicated to Shawn Hartley, thanks for the request! And thanks to Meeshman for the troubleshooting.
