File Description

Here's the 'fixed' version of the very nice set of American Normandy skins by Aeneas2020. These ones feature a special camouflage that didn't last too long in the field for practical reasons (read the history below), but they still look excellent and work great with the game! ;) This version fixes a mistake in the arm patches and logos of the soldiers. Check out the screenshots below of these slick skins, and download them now!

Before I get any annoying messages saying I'm talking garbage, here is a history lesson: The US Army issued a number of troops with one piece camouflage tunics for the Normandy campaign, but they quickly withdrew them because soldiers wearing them were often mistaken for SS men and shot by their own troops. The camouflage used was unique (i.e. not one of the US pacific camos as worn by the marines) and was an overall-type suit in a light green speckled with a darker green and finally a light orange/brown. I have toned down the colours from the pictures I used for reference, as it looked too bright in the game. I have also increased the speckle size, as a smaller one led to a "dirty" or "muddy" texture look. I hope you can forgive these historical inaccuracies.

--US 1944 Camo Skins By Aeneas2020--

Thank you for downloading my skins.

This skin places Two tone green and brown camo over the us troops in CoD2.
This is version 2 of my normandy skin pack and simply replaces the rangers
sleeve patch with a 2nd AD one (for added historical accuracy)
