Call of Duty 2 v1.1 (Intel) Patch

Here's the first patch for CoD2, and it should certainly be a good bit of excitement for some of our users. :P It was meant for Windows 2000 or Windows XP users with any of the following system features: Intel Hyper-Threading (HT) Technology processors, multiple processors, or dual core processors. It will work on any supported version of CoD2 up to v1.01 (so far only stock v1.0 is available), and it will not affect whether players' purity. It is entirely backwards-compatible with v1.0 users connecting as clients to v1.01 servers, for example.

I highly recommend this update because it's just a small download, and the installation is extremely painless. I finished downloading and installing in under a minute; the installation is extremely fast and requires no more than a few clicks of the mouse. You don't even have to reboot after it's done! After installing this, my CoD2 frame rate jumped from around 40 FPS to anywhere from 60-70 FPS, so it was definitely worth the very small amount of time getting it into gear. And by the way, I have a 3.0 GHz Intel D915PCYL HT-enabled processor. :P

This update supports US/UK English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Russian language versions of Call of Duty 2 only.
