File Description

Here we have the standalone, server-side version of Bell's Hold the Flag gametype, which he decided to release separately from his recently exhibited Additional War Effects (v3.0 beta 4) mod. It's got all the same cool stuff from the one inside the big mod itself, so if the gametype is all you're interested in, then this will definitely appeal to you. ;) Also, as abovementioned, it's server-side only, meaning your clients won't have to download the gametype in order to join in on the fun! :D The gametype is compatible with all stock maps and any other custom map that supports TDM, so chances are, you'll be good wherever you'll play it. Read the full list of rules below, and put it on your server today!

Rules ----- Each team spawns on the opposite side of the map from each other.

The object is to get the flag, which spawns in the middle of the map and hold it for 90 seconds within your own team (hold time can be configured with cvars).

Doing that will give the team 1 point and the flag will respawn in its original position or a random position (configurable).

Flag carrier is marked on the compass although with a 1-second delay for the enemy team.

The first team to reach the score limit (default 5) wins.
