It still amazes me the extent to which KnifeInFace can improve quality and realism of the CoD2 weapons. As I said in his other latest release, it really illustrates well how important bump maps and specular maps are to the overall look of the weapon. This release features a lot more than just those, though; it's got brand new metals, wood, and generally a gorgeous look in both DX7 and DX9 modes. Check out the screenshots below to see for yourself, and download this awesome new skin by KnifeInFace now!
KnifeInFace's BAR -#13 Of The "Real" Series- Installation: Simply place one of the 2 iwd. file into your "main" folder which is situated in your Call of Duty 2 directory DX-7 = Lower End Computers, DX-9 = Higher End. Call of Duty 2 Directory - C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\ Place the iwd. in here - C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\main\ Description: This skin was a hassle too make, first of all the original was too plain, all you could see was the metal. So I tried to make the bumps and specs fill up the gaps. The outcome is this, and I think that I pulled off a pretty damn good war torn BAR. I recomend people with direct-x7 not too download this ski, it was made purposely for direct-x9 users. ENJOY! Features: -New metals -New wood -Redone metals -Redone Spec's -Redone Bump's -Beautiful polish for DX-9 users Credits: All made by KnifeInFace (KIF) also known as Scott S. R. d'Eon If you wish to use or edit this skin and rerelease it with your name on it, please ask me first. Special Thanks: I'm giving out a special thanks to John Keel for helping me with the productions of my skins through the past years. He's the one who takes the pictures for me in Direct x-9.
