Chrissstrahl brings us a new tutorial for CoD1/UO/2 games. This tutorial will show you how to hex a compiled level (.bsp) for all ID-Tech3 based games. Now just to be clear: you can not change the level brushes (i.e. buildings, ground, etc.). You can only edit entities such as models, spawn points, weapon spawns, vehicles, and some nodes. This is some good knowledge to have in case you ever loose your map file and you only have the compiled version available. Check the read-me for all supported games, and if you're interested in learning something new, then download this now! :)
