File Description
Here's another new map from Lasticot and Claire Claws for CoD2MP called Newvillers Center. This is the first release for the map, so it should give a fresh new experience for those of you already deep into the SP-to-MP 'scene.' :P It's got a very creepy and gloomy look to it that's all too complete with the ghastly destroyed church, horse carcasses littered around, and abandoned homes. The v4_Lasticot.zip ( & the v4_extra_maps.zip) Read this carefully to be sure your server will run without errors. Because of CoD2 gamestate-problem NO MORE then 5 converted maps can be used in a server-rotation !!! ( or a 90.000 kB in total size.) Errors that can be expected when there are to much 'extra' files in use: - Gamestate error - Name mismatch error - Wrong weapon file error - Players cant join server when a few players are already on it. - Server crash - etc. etc. That is why you get with the v4_Lasticot.zip just 5 maps but with a +/- 90.000 kB total. But the v4_extra_maps.zip file contains 3 more maps. So its up to you to choose your favorite combination of maps. The server-rotation names and extra notes : The v4_Lasticot.zip: mp_Amaye_Sur_Seulles_v4 = CTF near centerfield only. - TDM/DM/HQ/HTF has now centerfield spawnpoints added. mp_silotown_final_v4 = CTF/TDM/DM - Minefield spawnpoints fixed. mp_cityhall_v4 = DM/TDM/CTF/HQ/HTF - Spawnpoint above the Russian flag fixed. mp_Winter_Training = TDM/DM mp_farm_du_hoc = CTF/HQ/DM/TDM/HTF/SD The v4_extra_maps.zip: mp_newvillers_center_v4 = CTF/TDM/DM - Route to back of map closed off. Extra allied spawnpoints added. mp_Russia = CTF/HQ/DM/TDM mp_crossroads_v4 = DM/TDM/CTF/HQ/HTF - New CTF spawnpoints, increased gamestate. All maps can be used with extra modifications and maps will have ambient sound next to the taunts.
