Ever felt like the Mp40 just didn't sound right? Well here is your chance to change, the sound of the MP40 that is. :P Ruhigsein claims he has been trying out different techniques to make his real recordings "high end" quality. After giving this mod a listen, I would really have to say that this is a very well recorded shot. If you want to change the sound for the MP40 in CoD2 or just fill your curiosity needs, then download this great sounding mod today.

Mp40 Sound Mod ------------ by Pleiades aka RuhigSein (My ingame CoD2 name is fugs) ------------ This is a real recording loop from an Mp40 Sub Machine Gun. This is what it sounds like in an open field. -------------------------- Installation Instructions: (For Normal Sound) *Extract(or Copy and Paste) zzz_Real_Mp40_Sound.iwd to your Activision/Call of Duty 2/main folder -------------------------- Installation Instructions: (For Looping Sound) *Extract(or Copy and Paste) zzz_Real_Mp40_Soundloop.iwd to your Activision/Call of Duty 2/main folder -------------------------------------------------------- Uninstallation Intructions: (For Normal Sound) *Delete zzz_Real_Mp40_Sound.iwd from your Activision/Call of Duty 2/main folder -------------------------- Uninstallation Intructions: (For Looping Sound) *Delete zzz_Real_Mp40_Soundloop.iwd from your Activision/Call of Duty 2/main folder -------------------------- Notes: Okay this is actually just a small Demo of my upcoming Realism Sound Mod.... This is what an Mp40 sounds like "Looping". This has two features, the mixture of the loop, or it actually looping. I need feedback of which sounds better, looping or non-looping. If you're familiar with my other versions to my Realism Sound Mod, also let me know if I should use the Looping Mp40, or the 1 Shot Mp40. This showcases a small "High End" ability... The sound may or not be better in my next release. But I'm just trying different ways for it. Like I'm trying out different techniques to see which sounds best or most fit for the game. That goes for all the sounds. P.S. Just let me know how you like it, if I should use this specific mp40 sound, and which version should I use. Or if I should have all the machine guns looping, or just leave it to 1 sound.
