Here's an awesome new CoD2MP map by John Benson, which obviously took him quite some time and effort to produce. Compatible in every gametype, this map was made not only with a brilliant layout and attention to detail in mind but also with the utmost care taken to provide for energetic gameplay across it's sprawling landscape. You'll probably want to check out this forum post to see the process of creating Saar River—it'll get you even more pumped about downloading and playing this latest version, v1.1. ;) Just check out those screenshots below, and I'm sure you'll be sold. It's nothing like what we've seen before… It's John Benson's Saar River.
This is Saar River verion 1.1. The map was created by John Benson Saar River is a drop off point, where supplies are offloaded from, and loaded on, trains. The Currently, the trains are stuck on the track which gives the allies an opportunity to disrupt axis shipping. The map is compatable with Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Headquarters, CTF and Search and Destroy. There is a thread about the map's creation here: http://www.3rd-infantry-division.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=8579&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= I want to thank the Skyguy and Bionic nipple from the BHC http://www.bhc-clan.org/ and Rasta from rnr-projects http://www.rnr-projects.co.uk/forums/ as well as the folks at modsonline and IWNation. I also need to thank the guys of the 3rd ID. They have taught me a lot about strategic thinking in gameplay. This is my first map. --------------------- Copyright/permissions --------------------- You may distribute this ZIP or IWD in any not-for-profit electronic format (BBS, Internet, CD, etc.) as long as you contact me first, and include all files, including this readme, intact in the original archive.
