Description

Here's a simple menu mod for the much-adorned WCP V2.8 CoD2SP realism mod. This 'unofficial' extension by a man named SkulpingNipple (a bit grotesque, yes :P ) features an array of changes to WiCoPP's menus. Just read the list below for a complete list of things changed, and see the screenies below! :)

  • Fixed text positioning on the Main Options menu
  • Added some options to the Combat Menu
  • Changed to default weapons in the single-player levels (as the developers had them)
  • Added ability to change the random weapon option
  • Added ability to change explosion options
  • Added a note on the bottom of the screen
  • Changed the titles of the menus
  • Changed some translations here and there
  • The options screen now immediately closes when you press ESC (like all other menus)

What is this?
Actually its nothing more then an extension for the in my humble opinion "Best Realism MOD" for Singleplayer.

What kind of extension?
Well, if you take a look at the screenshots, you can see it (6 screenshots, 3 are before, 3 are after).

A small list:
- Fixed the text placement in the Main Options screen (so it looks like its always have been there)
- Added some options to the Combat Menu
 - Default weapons in the singleplayer levels (like the developers wanted them to be).
 - Ability to change the random weapon option
 - Same for the explosions
 - Added a note on the bottom of the screen
- Changed the titles (WCP_CoD2) from the menus
- Changed some translations here and there.
- The options screen now immediatly closes when you press ESC (just like all the other menus)

Why would you do that?
I told you already I like WCP very much, but one thing I didn't like was that there was no option to 
use the default weapons of a level.

Besides that, why the rest?
I like stuff to be nice and clean. So the rest just smoothed the menus a bit...

Do we need anything else besides this mod?
Ehm... Call of Duty 2 and the original WCP 2.8 MOD perhaps?

How to install or uninstall this?
Simple place it in the folder you created for WCP (the folder you load with +set fs_game parameter in the shortcut)
And you remove it there if you want to get rid of it.

Do we know you?
I don't know, can be. I'm an active modder of a lot of games and you can find me on a lot of forums.

If you are so active, why arn't there any other files of you?
I never created something worth to be released (at least not for CoD2 yet).
