Protects against spawn killing by adding a spawn timer to the player. The server admin can increase or decrease the spawn time through a server dvar, but canot set it to 0. If set to 0 the mod will make the default timer to 5.
I have tested for protection against most things, and have found that it does not protect against flash grenades. *ADDED* - When the player jumps the spawn protection is turned off, this is the only way to turn it off. - The spawn protection timer now defaults to 5 if set protection_time is not set in your server.cfg. It doesn't protect you from yourself. Any bugs please leave a comment Everything I used to make the mod is in the zip file, so anyone wanting to use it in their own mod please feel free. Place the mod.ff & z_modwarfare.iwd into mods/SpawnProtection folder. ( create the SpawnProtection folder if it does not exist ). There is a server dvar (for use in your server.cfg) you can set for how much time ( in seconds ) you want the protection to last: use set protection_time 10 ( where 10 is the time in seconds ); Exe parameters are: "Game Folder" +set fs_game mods/SpawnProtection +exec default_server.cfg +map_rotate & anything else you want set.
