Here's a cool new weapon mod for Call of Duty 4 single-player by Wjj91. The mod focuses on reducing ammo counts and other aspects of the weapons, as well as modifying the skins somewhat (the ReadMe says it removes the word "blue4" written on the weapons, whatever that means). This mod was designed to add a certain level of 'realism' to CoD4 as it seems to lack some.
all ammo amounts have been edited to make it more believable rather than carry 560 rounds of
ammo which im sure is pretty much impossible. Most weapons have been balanced and the zoom
reduced .

+ Most rifle ammo amounts reduced to 180
+ M21 now has 15 round clips
+ m16 now has burst fire instead of full auto
+ M249 has 200 round belt instead of 100
+ RPD has 75 round belt
+ Also included is a skin that removes the word 'blue4' written on the US weapons. Made by

INSTALLATION

YOU CANNOT SIMPLY PUT THIS IN THE MAIN FOLDER!!!
For this to work correctly you need to create a new folder in your existing mod folder
for example...

(your directory)\activision\CoD4\mods\(your new mod folder) 

put the weapon mod file in here, the skin (zzz_noblue4_US.iwd)can be added to your main folder 
and will work fine.(as long as no other US weapon skins)

now you need to edit your shortcut to say this...

&quot;C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3sp.exe&quot; +set fs_game mods
/(your new mod folder)

simply delete either file
