Everyone loves a good Battle Royale mode, right? Well Black Ops 4's, known as Blackout, is now free to play for the whole of April.

It's one of the many editions of the game, which can be a little confusing, but if you've been looking for another Battle Royale to try but didn't want to fork out for the latest Call of Duty title, then it's a good time to try it out.

There's been free periods before, with a week in January being the most recent, but this entire month is by far the longest.

There's a new map out later in the month too, known as Alcatraz, which is a growing trend in the genre and should prove interesting and fun.

Of course, there's an oversaturation of such games at the moment, after PUBG and Fortnite paved the way, Apex Legends and other titles such as Battlefield V have all jumped on the bandwagon.

Still, free is free, so it's worth checking out while the offer is there.
