Here we have the second release of Godfried's sweet player customization mod, which features the following updates:

- Some changes in the uniform selection, new table in file in zip - Weapon based gear - Disabled the Colt replacement for British commandos on some maps (it would have no sounds there) - Modified the messages, so they only display rank specific details (no useless stuff)

Remember, your appearance changes as your rank changes! Here's a complete list of the different appearances:

Americans: Rank 1: Airborne soldier with normal helmet (1/6 chance medic helmet) Rank 2: Airborne soldier with net helmet (1/6 chance medic helmet) Rank 3: Airborne soldier with scrim helmet (camouflaged) Rank 4: Airborne sargeant (with Moody's helmet; spades signs on sides) Rank 5: Airborne captain (II sign on front of helmet)

- Server messages to every player, telling them what uniform they are wearing.
- Some changes in the gear selection
- British commandos have Colts instead of Webleys
- No Camo Fallshirmjägers on maps with Brits, because of the similartities between their uniforms. This may have caused teamkilling in the first version
- Correct uniforms on mp_peaks

1. Description:

Basically, this mod gives different uniforms for every battlerank a player can reach in the game. The uniforms are updated on each respawn. A second thing the mod does (as it's a advanced edition of GUM) is adding a set of new hats and gear to the game. For example, lots of new helmets for the americans, British S.A.S. heads from the single player mission Sicily, a new helmet for the German Fallschirmjäger (also taken from single player), a Russian Ushanka (worn by Pavlov in the single player missions) and officer caps for both Germans and Russians. The order in which you gain new uniforms is meant to be as historically accurate and realistic as possible and I would like to recieve detailed critics about this is the things I did are not exactly as they should be. The uniforms per rank are as followed:

Americans:
Rank 1: Airborne soldier with normal helmet (1/6 chance medic helmet)

* As there is no winter version avaiable for British airborne, on winter maps commando uniforms will be used with airborne equipment and headwear.

Random elements:
In the next version, more random elements will be there and special uniform selections will be there for certain maps. In this version, the random elements are:
- Gear (this was the same in normal CoD and UO, but the system is changed. Though it should have the same results)
- Fallschirmjäger Camo headwear (a new helmet is added, the Fallshirmjäger Green one, and has the same chance of appearing on Camo Fallschirmjägers as the MP default Camo helmet.
- British S.A.S. heads and hats. (There are four of these, all taken from the single player campaign.)



2. Info

This mod is server side. This means clients won't have to download anything to be able to play on a server running the mod and will still be able to enjoy it in full effect. The mod adds some files and modifies some. The modified files are all the mptypes, so GRUM is not compatible with any other mod changing something about the mptypes, not even GUM (GUM needs to be deleted in order to get GRUM to work).

3. Credits

Mod is made by me in its complete, except for the waitForSavedModel() thread, this was copied from xXezekielXx's Funny Hats mod (with his permission). This was to force the game to give a new uniform (or the same) to each player on a respawn.
