While the single player campaign will be relatively short compared to the original, Gray Matter has really gone to town on the multiplayer portion of United Offensive. Players will get a chance to play on a whopping 13 maps and three new gameplay modes have been added as well along with the addition of player controlled vehicles (tanks, jeeps and the like) to the multiplayer maps. One added mode is Capture The Flag which is what most multiplayer fans expect (and perhaps should have been put into the original Call of Duty to start with but that’s neither here nor there) but the other two gameplay modes are welcome additions. One is Domination, a mode that fans of the Battlefield games should be familiar with as teams have to capture and hold all the locations on the map. The other is Base Assault, which has elements similar to UT 2004’s Assault and Return To Castle Wolfenstein’s main multiplayer modes. The teams have to not just take over all three of an enemy team’s base but flat out destroy them, eliminating the enemy team’s spawn point.Head to HomeLan Fed to check out more!
