File Description

Have you ever played Call of Duty and though, wouldn't it be cool to play as a different allied team on your favorite map? How about playing as a different team on that map, let's say mp_carentan as Russians, with a different weapon set? Russian guys, on mp_carentan, carrying Russian weapons? That's what this mod enables you to do. Now, you may think, wouldn't this require a lot of coding? Nope, with a new set of cvars from this mod, you could make a game exactly like the one above. The mod, Colonel Cow's Custom CoD, CCCC for short, will give you many new hours of crazy new fun with this game. And to top it all off, it's a server-side only mod. Download this great mod now and leave some feedback on how you find it

				         for CoD 1.2
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for downloading my server-side mod, this mod will bring you plenty of hours of fun and
crazyness without having the players of your server download this as well. Now, you may be
reading this or have heard about this mod and you may find all the rules, etc, confusing,
however if you follow all instructions in this readme and test and take it slowly, you will
be able to create really akward but fun combinations. In this readme you will find the
mod description, conditions when in possesion of this mod, detailed descriptions of the new
cvars, how to use them, how to create certain combos and what to do and not to do to prevent
errors.

******V 2.1 NOTES******
Support added for version 1.3. There are no other changes other than that.

***********************

******V 2 NOTES******
For information about what has been changed from V 1 to 2, please read the included Version Log.txt file.

While all bugs have been cleared, these bugs have only been cleared for official maps. You may still
run into them on custom maps.

Thanks to the addition of the "mapdefault" value for all cvars, the "How to reset:" part of each
cvar description has been deleted as you can use the "mapdefault" value now instead.

VERY IMPORTANT: BECAUSE OF THE ADDITION OF THE "mapdefault" VALUE, THE CCCC.CFG FILE HAS NOW BEEN
TAKEN OUT SINCE YOU CAN RESET WITH "mapdefault". THE SETA COMMAND IS NOW RECOMMENDED TO TAKE PLACE
OF THE CCCC.CFG FILE. TO USE THE SETA COMMAND, USE IT INSTEAD OF SET, AND IT WILL SAVE YOUR SETTINGS.

**NEW** signifies new features in V 2.

**NEW** 3. Please put something in your MOTD that specifies that your server is running CCCC, so that
your server players are not confused.

----------------------------------------
2. MOD DESCRIPTION
----------------------------------------
Have you ever played Call of Duty and though, wouldn't it be cool to play as a different
allied team on your favorite map? How about playing as a different team on that map, let's
say mp_carentan as Russians, with a different weapon set? Russian guys, on mp_carentan,
carrying Russian weapons? That's what this mod enables you to do. Now, you may think,
wouldn't this require a lot of coding? Nope, with a new set of cvars from this mod,
you could make a game exactly like the one above. The mod, Colonel Cow's Custom CoD, CCCC for
short, will give you many new hours of crazy new fun with this game. And to top it all off,
it's a server-side only mod.

----------------------------------------
3. INSTALLATION
----------------------------------------
To install this mod, simply extract the ZzZzZzZz-ColonelCowsCustomCoD.pk3 file
out of the .zip folder and place it into your Call Of Duty\Main directory. Make sure that there
are no other mods installed, if there are remove them from the Main folder. If you do not know
where the Main folder is, the default installation path for it is

C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\Main

You will know that you are sucessful when you connect into your own server or create your own
and see a little message in the gamemode menu "You are runnning Colonel Cow's Custom CoD v 2.1 by
Colonel Cow".

If you have CCCC v 1 installed, you can either replace the old file with this one when you drag it or
delete the original files and then put in the new v 2 ones. Also delete the old CCCC.cfg file, as
it is not recommended for use anymore.

----------------------------------------
4. CVAR LIST
----------------------------------------
Here is where the new cvars and their abilities will be explained. There are 3 new cvars,
providing 3 main functions, the ability to change the default allied team for the map and
what uniform the allies wear (which opens up new abilites), also to change what team attacks
/defends in sd. The list will tell you what new cvars there are, what they exactly do, when to
use them and possible combos with other cvars. Remember that to make this a server-side only mod to make sure that you turn off the Auto Download ability on your server and all of the people who join (however after getting the "Cannot download this file" error they will understand what to do) and that your server is not pure (sv_pure 0). This readme assumes that people already know how to enter cvars properly into their servers.

------
CVAR 1: cccc_setalliedteam
------

CVAR to type into console: cccc_setalliedteam

What does it do?: This cvar allows you to override the team set by the map

Example: "set cccc_setalliedteam russian" This will override every map's allied team and make
the allies russian when played.

How to reset: Cannot really be done, once you set it once you must set it to the original for
the next map each time before it loads (e.g. if your server had the map mp_pavlov next in the
rotation, you would have to set cccc_setalliedteam russian before the map loaded. If the next
map were mp_carentan, you would have to set cccc_setalliedteam american before the map loaded,
etc). If you restart the server you will not need to do this.

Possible values: "american" This will make the allies for each map american
"british" This will make the allies for each map british
"russian" This will make the allies for each map russian
**NEW** "mapdefault" This will reset any changes you made with this cvar back
to the default on each map you play

------
CVAR 2: cccc_setTEAMsoldiervariation
------

CVAR to type into console: cccc_setTEAMsoldiervariation
where TEAM equals these values for the appropriate team:
us = Americans
british = British
russian = Russians
**NEW** german = Germans

What does it do?: It allows you to change the outfit of the allies or axis if the cvar used
corresponds to the correct team. **NEW** You can change the outfit of the map's non-
default team (i.e. a team set by the cccc_setalliedteam cvar)

Example: "set cccc_setussoldiervariation russnorm" would change the outfit of the americans
on every default american map with the team set as american to the outfit of the russians

Possible values: "normal" This will make the outfit the default for the team set
"winter" This will make the outfit the default winter for the team set
(if applicable, see "Additional Information" to see what countries have a
		   winter outfit)
"amernorm" This will make the outfit of the team the American Airborne
"amerwinter" This will make the outfit of the team the Wint. American Suit
"britishnorm" This will make the outfit of the team the Default British
"russnorm" This will make the outfit of the team the Russian Conscript
"russwinter" This will make the outfit of the team the Wint. Russ. Conscript
"russvetnorm" This will make the outfit of the team the Vet. Russian
"russvetwinter" This will make the outfit of the team the Wint. Vet. Russian
"britishcommando" This will make the outfit of the team the Brit. Commando
"britishcommandowinter" This will make the outfit of the team the Wint. Brit
		   Commando
**NEW** "gerwehrmacht" This will make the outfit of the team the German Def.
**NEW** "gerwehrmachtwinter" This will make the outfit the Def. German Wint.
**NEW** "gerwaffen" This will make the outfit of the team Def. German Waffen
**NEW** "gerwaffenwinter" This will make the outfit the German Waffen Winter
**NEW** "gerfallsjagercamo" This will make it the German Falls'jager Camo
**NEW** "gerfallsjagergrey" This will make it the German Falls'jager Default
**NEW** "gerkriegsmarine" This will make the outfit the German Kriegsmarine
**NEW** "mapdefault" This will reset any changes you made with this cvar back
to the default on each map you play

NOTE: DO NOT USE THE FOLLOWING VALUES IF THE TEAM IS...

American = "amernorm", "amerwinter"
British = "britishnorm"
Russian = "russnorm", "russwinter"

AND INSTEAD REPLACE WITH THE VALUE "normal" (and "winter", if applicable)

------
**NEW** CVAR 3: cccc_setattackersdefenders
------

CVAR to type into console: cccc_setattackersdefenders

What does it do?: These CVARs allow you to change the team that attacks or defends in Search
and Destroy or Retrieval.

Example: "set cccc_setattackersdefenders 2" would change the default setup of all offical maps of the
Allied team being the attackers and the Axis teambeing the defenders to the Allies being defenders and
Axis being attackers.

Possible values: "1" This will change the attackers to Allies and defenders to Axis (on official maps,
this value is not needed. If you use the value "2" on offical maps, then use the
"mapdefault" value to reset back to normal, not this one)
"2" This will change the attackers to Axis and the defenders to Allies.
"mapdefault" This will reset any changes you made with this cvar back to the default
		 on each map you play
----------------------------------------
5. PRECAUTIONS
----------------------------------------
As you may have read from the Version log, the errors/bugs that used to fill this section up have
been cleared. So, while now you can do pretty much anything you want with this mod, it
is possible you will run into bugs that may still crash your server, so please test all the
commands offline so that way you know what to do and if you do accidentally crash it, it is much better than if you were online with lots of people. Also, there is one thing you still have to watch out for,
here it is

----------------------------------------
6. ADDITONAL INFORMATION
----------------------------------------
Teams that have a Winter suit: American
			       Russian
