Here's a nice, simple CoD- and CoDUO-compatible script by Mr_Nickle that toggles the FPS counter on or off with the touch of a button, F7. No need for explaining here; if you think you'd make some use of this, download the script now! ;)
I'm Mr_Nickle, this is my eighth script I've released. If you could and idea's for scripts, or things that could be made easier, please contact me. /-*-/-*-/-*-/-*-/=-*-/JH\-*-\-*-\-*-\-*-\ Short Description Press F7 and it will show your FPS. Press F7 and it will make it disappear. Good for jumpers or people who like to see their FPS, but dont always like it there. /-*-/-*-/-*-/-*-/=-*-/JH\-*-\-*-\-*-\-*-\ Installation Place JHfps.cfg into your Call of Duty/Main folder. (Or for UO in your Call of Duty/UO folder) Launch CoD and open CONSOLE by pressing ~ . Now do /exec JHfps This must be done EVERY time to launch CoD. If you are lazy like me and do not want to type it every time you launch CoD, continue reading. If you prefer to just type it in every time, go to the "Customize" section. Follow these instructions on how to edit your CoD Shortcut! - Right click on your CoD/CoD UO shortcut. - It should say something like "C:\Program Files\Call of Duty Game of the Year Edition\CoDMP.exe" - Add "exec JHfps" WITHOUT the quotation marks. - Now it should look something like this: "C:\Program Files\Call of Duty Game of the Year Edition\CoDMP.exe" exec JHfps - Click OK and then next time you launch CoD/CoD UO it will automatically exec the .cfg /-*-/-*-/-*-/-*-/=-*-/JH\-*-\-*-\-*-\-*-\ Customize (Switch which key it binds it to) -Open JHfps.cfg with Notepad, Microsoft Word or Wordpad. -Look for where it says F7 -Replace F7 with whichever key you prefer. /-*-/-*-/-*-/-*-/=-*-/JH\-*-\-*-\-*-\-*-\ Contact: If you have any questions, comments or script ideas, please contact me at: Mr_Nickle [AT] hotmail [dot] com Or add my Xfire username MrNickle
