At the ninth annual "D.I.C.E." (Design, Innovate, Create, Entertain) convention held by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS), Civilization IV took the nod for `PC Game of the Year` beating out both Age of Empires III and Empire Earth II as reported by GameSpot`s Tor Thorsen. It and three other titles lost to Battlefield 2 for the `PC Game of the Year` award however.
