Ahh... Here's yet another nice utility from out beloved utility maker Junuxx. This time he was annoyed becuase the different civilizations had same starting locations every time you started a game! So what do you think he did?
That's right, he wrote a JAVA program to modify the XML files. The program is small (6.48KB is size) and extremely useful.
When will we get to see your next utility, Junuxx?
NOTE: This version includes the JAVA source code. For the edition without the source, click HERE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ Readme for Default Players Tweaker 1.1f ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This tiny utility is made to easily modify the number of civs placed on normal Civ maps. The source code is also available to show how easy it is to make such a program. **INSTALLATION** All you have to do is placing DTP.jar and the backup file in the folder Assets\XML\GameInfo Double click DTP.jar to start the program. **NOTE**: If this brings up winRAR, you need to start the program by pressing the right mouse button on DTP.jar, select 'Open with' and choose 'Java(TM) 2 Platform..." Set the settings and press 'Apply' to commit the changes to CIV4WorldInfo.xml Press 'restore' to change the values back to the default. Happy Civving! Junuxx, 12 Dec 2005
