This must be one of the first mods released for the C&C3 demo! Mere_Mortal has been working on the C&C3 demo code, and has managed to make a number of useful changes. In the mod, each faction gets the other's MCV (scrin are not included in the demo, so cannot be put into the mod) as well as their own.
In addition, the splash and intro are not shown at startup, so you can get to the action faster! The Nod audio has also been fixed - it was missing from the demo. Nod now uses the GDI audio as well.
There is one other change, but Mere_Mortal himself is not sure what it does. Both factions have each other's initial upgrades, but exactly what these do is a mystery. If you can find out, contact him!
Installation 1. Backup the file CNC3_english_1.0.SkuDef in the TW root directory. 2. Extract the attached files from the archive into the TW root directory. Uninstalling 1. Reinstate the original CNC3_english_1.0.SkuDef file. 2. Delete the Custom.BIG file from the TW root directory. Changes * GDI starts with the NOD Mobile Construction Vehicle. * NOD starts with the GDI Mobile Construction Vehicle. (AI will deploy the MCV, but not build foreign tech) * The splash and intro are no longer shown at startup. * No event audio for NOD is present, all NOD related parameters have been replaced with those for GDI. * In PlayerTemplate.INI, both factions now have... * InitialUpgrades = Upgrade_GDIFaction Upgrade_NODFaction Previously, they just had their own upgrade.
