A very pretty, two player, chokepoint, non-symmetric, blue zone, large map. Players are in the bottom left and top left corners with a mountian ridge between them. There are two spikes on the map to fight over, you have two tiberium patches to start with and then three extra patches to expand to. You can build a refinery by the extra two green patches, but the blue patch, you must have your harvesters drive to. The path into each base is about 1 tank wide, leading to some tight spaced battles.
Good: Very well textured. Extremely well detailed. Uncannily well terrain adjusted. A beautiful map all around.
Bad: The paths are very small, about 1 tank wide, so there will be issues with units running into eachother. The camera zoom is too large so you have the background clipping problems with the black shroud cutting off the background. Due to some extra Tiberium crystals, the false warning is given that 'Tiberium Field Depleted.'
Verdict: Download this map! It's pretty and that fact makes up for the not so great gameplay.
Name - Mountain Pass Player - 2 Size - 300x300 Time allocted to its creation - 2 Hours on and off Theater - Temperate Green zone Creator - OverlorD Description - Well i had to test out the games ability to handle mountains so i created this as a test map but I had way to much fun creating it and decided to make it one of my signature maps i have to say it came out damn nice. I put alot of tiem into this map to get the level of detail i wanted i wanted to make a realistic mountain range with life like pathways and natural Sounds and details i think it came out very well. Hope your like it - OverlorD Additional Information - Being a 2 player maps set on a 300x300 pallet u have alot of room to roam around but be aware the paths are tricky to figure out. The placement of the bases could have been better i do have to say but to combat unbalancing i have disabled the Devastator Warship As it could fire over the mountain from home base and hit yours.... So i figure it was A good idea if you do not liek it o well im gonna keep it as is cause scrin had a really unfair advantage. thats about it for the map have fun playing my creation thank you for downloading.
