This mod trilogy includes beng's laser general mod (the one with the teleporting Tardis and super firebases etc), and also a Demolition general mod, and Nuke general mod.
It is intended for adding replay value to the single player campaigns, Generals Challenge, and Skirmish games. It may work for multiplayer games if both players have the mod installed but i haven't tested this.
The single player campaigns start with the Generals ones and progress to the Zero Hour ones. The vanilla USA / GLA / China units can change into the Laser / Demo / Nuke general types.
Each of the three sides has several new units and buildings and all the existing ones are changed to give them new characteristics or capabilities.
For example, the Demo general can build anti-aircraft barrage balloons which can drift over to the enemy supply pile and blow up the enemy Chinooks. Demo Jarmen can snipe garrisoned infantry and even aircraft and call in a kamikaze crop duster air strike. Hijackers can be garrisoned inside Black Markets to hack cash and get promoted, and then can be used to promote vehicles.
The Nuke general has a super long range SAM silo which can help shoot down incoming special power planes or distant aircraft. Nuke Lotus can kill infantry with kung fu, and plant neutron bombs which can be upgraded with neutron mines to make minefields. She can call in an air strike which drops 2 Frantan napalm bombs. Nuke general has long range artillery instead of Gatling turrets, and bunkers which come with free infantry. He can also build the Uranium ore mine (works like a tunnel network) and Uranium Enrichment Factory (generates new supplies) and high tech lab (gives GPS, gap generator, and hospital and repair pad behaviour). Nuke carpet bomber drops laser guided smart bombs. Nuke cargo planes launch flying bombs.
See included readme file. Version 1.01 fixes some bugs that made the USA campaign get stuck at mission 5 and the China one at mission 11.
