A six player desert map. Players start of with two supply docks and an oil derrick. There is a small city in the middle with an oil refinery and a lot of oil derricks. Once you have captured the middle it is highly defendable. A train is moving around the map. The train adds a very nice strategy because you can hide units in there and the train passes every base so you can get the train full of units and surprise your enemy. The problem is that the some of the computer players build their buildings on the tracks so the train destroys them. UN vehicles and some civilian trucks are moving through the map, too. The design is good. I had a lot of fun playing this map. Nice job!
Desert Romp - By Choddy To install : Extract the contents of the zip file into your My documents> Command and conquer generals > Maps Folder and your ready to roll. It will automaticly create a folder for you. This map is my first map, I will do better next round I hope. I know its not the best eye candy in the world but like I say its my first. Its set up for 6 players but thats mostly for skirmish mode, to make it harder for me and my friend I set it up so we started in the side spots with less resources next to base then the normal base areas. At the same time I added oil dericks and small piles at the center, which will hopefully make for some nice seize and control battles in mplay mode. Hold the center it might actually decide the out come of the war. Also you'll notice theres a train that runs through the whole map next to all the bases and is garrisonable. Thanks to RVMECH for his train script he posted on the public generals forum. Theres also roaming UN helicopters and humvees dont mind them they are evacuateing the town. Dont let your troops get in the path of a moveing vehicle... Anyhow hope its fun to play in.. PS. If your a seasoned player and want a challenge play with 6 poeple and start in the side slots, its alot of fun. Choddy
