File Description

This is a very good 8 player map, the only problem is it isn't ai enabled. it has a few nice sized towns throuout the map. There are a couple suprises in the map too, special crates. There is also a little movie in the beggining showing you the map and giving you a couple hints. This map is very detailed. It is a good map for teams of 2 because 2 players start in each corner.

Map Name: GodLands

Map Author: David Kellas (A_s_k_i_K_a_ERF)

Clan: Elite Rebel Forces Clan Leader since the 1990's.

Email Address: daveportmelb@yahoo.com.au

Release Date: 25th of Ocotober 2003.

Players: 8 player map designed for clan wars and any number of players (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 or 2v2v2v2 - etc).

Description: A larger map which contains 5 unique "worlds" and a great atmosphere to play in. The strong points of a map are in design, build space and the ability to employ any tactics you want to, this map offers you all of that.

"This map is set apart from the others through clever design, fair gameplay and the use of interactive scenery such as Trains, Commercial Airliners, a better default view, water levelling and a cut scene that shows you the map before you play it."

Installation: For "FULL" installation instructions refer to the "Map Installation.txt" document inside the "GodLands\GodLands Documentation\" folder, otherwise, if you know what you are doing, copy the entire contents of the "GodLands.zip" file into your Command and Conquer Generals "Maps\" directory (commonly found in the "My Documents\" folder), ensure that the "GodLands.map, GodLands.tga and GodLands.str" files are in the "Maps\GodLands\" directory, otherwise the map will not show up when you start Generals.

Good Luck and I hope you enjoy my masterpiece...

You have downloaded a good map.

GodLands is a work of art designed for the professional CcG gamer who requires open gameplay within a challenging environment and interactive scenery such as hazardous moving vehicles and realistic drought conditions.

Coming with a cut scene of mass destruction which acts as a network synchronization agent and a better default view you can't go past this map.

Map Description:

The strong points of a map are in design, build space and the ability to employ any tactic you want to within an open style of gameplay, this map offers you all of that.

Map Features:

Standard AI with smart attack routes (Great for 1v6).

Four bases, up to 8 players, evenly spaced.

Moderate supplies (Placed to make the game extremely challenging).

Generous Build Space (as the game progresses water levels drop to uncover more terrain).

There are two Black Markets on the map (they are in separate locations and can be captured).

Oil Derricks: 1 Per Player (if 8 players exist), located centrally.

1 hospital: Placed in a park for looks (it comes with Ambulances).

Trains: Services run through two cities, an International Airport, A hospital, the "Temple of Bin-Hussein" and the countryside (trains do not impede gameplay, they make it).

Enough civilian vehicles to mount a serious GLA rush in the start of the game.

Two refineries located as a part of the (central) Pharmaceutical Factory.

Two chemical Factories which leak chemicals if destroyed (Also combined as part of the Pharmaceutical Factory).

21 Lakes add appeal to the map and progressively "shrink" into nothing.

Specifications:
I reccomend you have an 1800Mhz+ processor with a deacent graphics accelerator if you wish to play this map online.

And whoever said "size didn't matter?" This is a heavyweight you can't go past!
