C&C Renegade: Sole Survivor is a team-based modification, mainly because the Renegade game engine does not support non-team play. Even though your role as a player is more individual and free than in Renegade, it's still mandatory to work as a team to win.
Each team (Global Defense Initiative, Brotherhood of Nod) has a central portal bay within which is contained a vehicle factory, unit upgrade facilities and seven teleporters. These teleporters will warp any object that enters it to a certain location within the designated battle area. Please do not overload the portal bays, as objects will merge into one if they are teleported at the same time. Larger vehicles (such as the GDI Mammoth Tank) will have more trouble fitting into the portal bay than smaller vehicles like the Nod Buggy. If you have trouble, enter the bay from the side and drive as close to the wall as possible. If infantry have trouble teleporting, stand in the center of the bay and jump.
If you wish to use a different character/weapon configuration or purchase a vehicle, use the Purchase Terminals in the center of the portal room. Purchased vehicles will exit from the vehicle factory in the back of the room when their construction is completed. Unlike Renegade, there is no vehicle limit.
Credits Dante and Jonathan Wilson have written many of the scripts that are required for the mod to function. Without their hard work, it would most definitely be impossible to implement the basic elements of Sole Survivor. BigWig did nearly all the scripting for the Arena rounds, created the Ice level, and did countless other tasks for the mod. It definitely wouldn't be here without his work either. Genocide improved many of the sketchy textures SomeRhino made. Panther created the website design for DriReign in general.
