 Infos about ACETON

    ACETON for CnC Zero Hour is an anticheat tool, which includes
    an optional Balance-MOD to make the game more attractive.
    Also it provides the ability to record encrypted logs and screenshots.
    This feature maybe interesting to online gaming leagues or
    tournaments.
    ACETON provides an auto update. This effects an always balanced
    modification and an up-to-date cheat detection.


    How does it work?

    Install the program and run it (1st take a look at requirements).
    Do your settings and play.
    You will recognize, that all games, running the original version, are not
    selectable, whether you're play with or without balance mod.
    The last played nickname, start/end of ZH and running processes are
    recorded into the log. If the screenshot feature is activated, screenshots will
    be taken in irregularly timespans.
    Do not try to manipulate logs or screenshots!


    What is required to run ACETON?

    You need to install the .NET framework, if you don't already have (setup will
    inform you). Download .NET        Information about .NET


    Known issues

    If you are not connected to the internet ACETON could not check for newer
    version. The application will be in the systemtray and the mainwindow will not
    appear completely. This also can be caused by so called "personal firewalls"
    (eg. Norton IS, ZoneAlarm,...). So it depends if ACETON will work or not.
    Configure your firewall correctly (let ACETON connect to internet) and it will work.

    Windows 98 users will recognize slow dowloads using the AutoUpdaters.
    Please be patient.

    German users who have installed the uncut patch will recognize some
    incompatabilities with general- and unitnames.
    We'll release a fix soon and perhaps add uncut patch support to the updater.
