Hey guys! Here is another zero hour mod! This one adds a completly new general with all origonal units! This is basically a usa tank general, because the airforce has been totally disabled execpt for the commache and the blackhawk. The mod brings the Abrams tank in the game, which is a sweet tank. All of the units have origional models and skins.... execpt for the mlrs.... which loses it's skin after it gets hurt too far, and i don't think the bradley can hold guys. But besides that, the mod is bug-free and great.
Update: I have just found out that the m60 patton becomes invisible when it gets hurt, i guess that'll make for a good suprise attack:lol:
Developer: Brian McKinney (Blackhawk 2000) Developer E-Mail address: [email protected] Release Date: 12/03/03 Version: 1.0 First of all, thank you for downloading this mod. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it. Many of you know some of my work from the Blackhawk mods, and I said that it would never be compatible for Zero Hour, because I never planned on buying it. Well, it seems I lied. I've taken the Blackhawk mod and made it compatible with ZH, and added a few more things with it as well. What I have done is as follows: Version 1.0 Instructions: Just extract the art and data folders directly into the Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour directory. Start the game and enjoy! Overall: I Created a whole new General for use in skirmish missions. Scroll all the way down when selecting your general in skirmish, past the GLA factions. There you will see the USA Modern Warfare General Units: M1 Abrams tank Weapon damage: High Speed: Fast Cost: 1500 Prerequisites: General's promotion, War Factory Comments: This is the best tank unit in the game. High cost, but well worth it M113 APC Weapon damage: Low Speed: Very Fast Cost: Low Prerequisites: War Factory Comments: Carries 3 infantry, weak armor M901 APC Weapon damage: Medium Speed: Very Fast Cost: Low Prerequisites: War Factory Comments: Carries 3 infantry, weak armor LTVP-7 Weapon damage: Low Speed: Medium Cost: Medium Prerequisites: War Factory Comments: Amphibious, weak armor, carries 10 infantry M2 Bradley Weapon damage: Medium Speed: Medium Cost: Medium Prerequisites: War Factory Comments: Carries 9 infantry, also has a TOW launcher UH-60 Blackhawk Weapon damage: Low Speed: Fast Cost: High Prerequisites: Supply Center Comments: Carries 12 infantry, can combat drop UH-60 Medevac Weapon damage: N/A Speed: Fast Cost: Medium Prerequisites: General's Promotion, Supply Center Comments: Automatically heals wounded soldiers in a certain radius Can only produce 1 at a time Cleans up radiation and toxins M88 Recovery Vehicle Weapon damage: N/A Speed: Slow Cost: Low Prerequisites: General's Promotion, War Factory Comments: Automatically heals vehicles in a certain radius Can only produce 1 at a time M270 MLRS Weapon damage: High Speed: Slow Cost: Medium Prerequisites: General's Promotion, War Factory Comments: Great for destroying bases M55 Sheridan Weapon damage: High Speed: Medium Cost: N/A Prerequisites: General's Promotion, Command Center Comments: Air droppable tank M60 Patton Weapon damage: Low Speed: Medium Cost: Low Prerequisites: General's Promotion, War Factory Comments: Half as expensive and half as powerful as the M1 Airborne Rangers These are the same as regular rangers, exept they become elite when you aquire the 82nd Airborne promotion Other Additions: 82nd Airborne upgrade through the promotion screen enables all airborne units to start off elite Paradrop 1: 5 Rangers Paradrop 2: 10 Rangers Paradrop 3: 3 M55 Sheridans, 9 rangers Note: To all you realism freaks, I know that Sheridans can't actually carry infantry, but they come out of the plane loaded with 3 airborne rangers each. You can then evacuate them, and have a little airborne force of infantry and tanks. This is the only way I could figure out how to get infantry and vehicles to drop out of the same airplane Airfields only cost 2000 dollars, but the only unit you can produce there is the Comanche. I created a whole new Bradley model from scratch. The one in my original Blackhawk mod was my first ever model, so it had a few bugs. Known Problems: You can't use this General in the General's Challenge campaigns. His button is still hidden on the selection screen, so if you run across it, don't start a game him or your game will crash. I really tried to figure out how to do this, and I'm still trying, so see later versions. The LTVP actually travels along the bottom of the ocean when conducting amphibious operations. It was either this or sliding along the surface of the water. Again, see later versions for corrections. THANKS!!
