NOTE: The idea for this map came from a friend of mine, Ethereal Shadows, who had the idea but isn't experienced at making maps. 
His original attempt can be found in the Zero Hour Maps section of www.cncgeneralsworld.com.

DESCRIPTION

This is a 2 vs. 1 Multiplayer only map. Skirmish is available sometimes and not at other times. 
Not reccomended for skirmish use as the AI on one side cannot reach the other side of the map.

SPECIFICS

Based loosely on Battlefield 1942's Omaha Beach, Omaha Assault features two sides, representing the Allied and Axis forces who fought and died
during World War 2. The Allied side, in the lower left corner, has land access to a lot of ressources including battleships and aircraft carriers. 
The other two players are on the "beach", one on a raised part and one on the beach itself.
 
The challenge in this map is to see if the Allied forces, with their superior ressources, can defeat two players, who, in the war, had a massive strategic advantage.

HISTORY

Omaha beach was one of the beaches where the Normandy landings took place. The Normandy landings began on June 6th, 1944, and are considered
by some as the beginning of the end for the German forces. Omaha Beach was one of the larger beaches being attacked, and was heavily fortified long
before the Allied troops arrived. Nearly 3 000 Allied troops died in the assault on Omaha, however it marked a significant turning point in the war and became
one of the most important battles in teh history or WW2. Salute those who died in the war and
