there is no option for "I'm VERY displeased with Relic/THQ and demand they undo the login rubish from vCOH and have uninstalled the patch." all these options are either favorable or neutral on the quality of the patch/travesty that has been foist upon us.

I havent downloaded the latest OF patch because I'm not sure if its totally worth it. Are we to expect more patches from Relic?

Getting a multi-gig patch over the 'net when you want to play a 25-minute game is a pain. Having to uninstall the game for the patch is a pain. Losing most of my custom maps becuase they're not in the right format is a pain. Not being able to play the custom maps that are in the right format in a multiplayer mode is a pain. Having to move my custom maps that do work into a new directory is a pain. having the sound very quiet from the patch is a pain. Having to connect to their server just to play a game is a pain. I'm not sure what these guys do when they plan on developing their software, but clearly they do not know how to go about it properly. The game had some early promise, but I just can't continue this much more. Keep all of the maps in one location. Get rid of the need to have a "-DEV" switch on your shortcut for custom maps. I inserted the CD once to prove I bought it off the shelf; stop asking me to do it time and time again. This sort of frustration causes players to look elsewhere for games to play - World in Conflict looks pretty cool. Maybe I've give Seirra 50 bucks to play that one...
