File Description

·Col. Clark· makes his return with an experimental map, involving some maipulation of what the map editot will allow, for your gaming enjoyment! Now, you're probably looking at this download and scratching your head thinking: "version 2? I don't recall version 1...what gives?" Well, the answer is simple, ·Col. Clark· uploaded v2 before I was able to finish mirroring the first submission.

As this map is on the small side of the scale, unit construction is limited to armored cars and below, the developer feels that these are under-utilized, so playing Frozen Forest will allow you to put them to good use; The terrain contains a forest and some slightly melted snow cover with a couple of buildings centered on some important points.

Some changes since the version that you didn't get to play include:
  • Fixed an issue that cause the gameplay to be far from balanced.

					Frozen Forest v2
					(1 vs. 1 map)

This map was created as a part of an experiment in clever manipulation of what the map editor gives. The map contains a forest with light, slightly melted snow-cover. There are a couple of buildings centered on important points, but the emphasis is once again, the terrain. Since the map is not huge, I scripted the map to restrict unit construction to armored cars and below (in a normal map, they do not recieve any attention so I figured I'd make a map where they are important).

*Fixed serious gameplay problem where the axis could build stugs developing major balancing issues

Instructions:

-Unzip all the files in "Frozen_Forest.zip" into "My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\WWII\Data\Scenarios\"

	***Dev mode not needed***

As usual, my maps are not tested with any mods; they will probably work, but no guarantees.

Feel free to use/distribute this map in any way you want (I'll find it flattering); just give me credit for my work!

If you have any problems (as in it doesn't work) you can contact me at nac0777@exchange.uta.edu
Constructive critisism/suggestions are greatly welcomed in the comments.

Enjoy!
