Get ready for an explosive 2v2 Skirmish Map sent in by a first time CoHFiles developer: RedFacti0n; Created because this developer didn't like the un-playable aspect of the Dawn of War: Dark Crusade map 'Into the Breach'...and low and behold - Into the Fray is here for your Company of Heroes gaming adventure!
Into the Fray will have all of the players starting in the corners, keeping everything as balanced as possible; There are some urban area between the HQ and the breach, to keep the gameplay and scenery fresh. This is this developer's first attempt at map making using the editor, and because of this, the detail is somewhat lacking, but everyone has to start somewheres, and for a first try, this map is a job well dome.
Originally this map would have come out bland if it was done as a true DOW-style Into the Breach, so RedFacti0n decided to make it more industrial, and focus somewhat on urban combat when past the breach point...making it hard to invade the opponents territory if it is garrisoned well.

Into The Fray by RedFacti0n 2v2 Annihilation/Victory Point Skirmish Mappar -Total of 4 munition points on each side,8 totalpar -Total of 2 fuel points on each side,4 totalpar -Total of 4 resource points on each side,8 totalpar Players start in four corners of the map Urban areas between HQ to the breach Suggested for Victory Point Play with 1000 points _________________________________________par Made this map because I saw the Into the Breach map and was disappointed on how it was unplayable so I decided to make my own variant of the DOW map Into the Breach. This is my first map that I have ever made using the editor. So there really isn't much detail in the map and I am looking forward to any advice on improving the map. Originally the map was going to come out bland if I just did a true DOW style into the breach so I decided to make it more industrial and focus somewhat of urban combat when past the breach point making it hard to invade the opponents territory if garrisoned well. This can be a quick match in victory points and kind of long and tedious on annihilate. So far my victory point is the suggested setting for this map. If you guys want you can improve upon this map and email me a copy at Aikichi15@yahoo.com and if you decide to re-upload it just make sure to give some kudos to me.
