Based on the famous game Enemy Territory this mod is trying to add some RPG and team based gameplay to CS:S. It lets people choose a class among 6 available ones (by default) and gain some xp and money by doing some actions like planting / defusing bombs, healing teammates, supplying ammo.
In addition to those actions (and the default hurting and killing) they can learn skills and buy some instances of them with their money to be able to do many different things. Those skills can also be upgrade such as for some of the classes properties like health, armor and speed points or primary and secondary ammo and a bonus weapon.
Players stats and skills will be saved and reloaded each time they join the server such as for their preferences file which will let them specify a few useful things like what language to use to translate the menus and messages displayed. The whole mod configuration (classes, skills, languages, stats, variables, ...) can be easily altered by editing any of the files present in a 'configuration' named folder.
EventScripts 2.0 + ES_Tools IS REQUIRED!
Simply extract the contents of the 'addons' folder of the archive file to your 'cstrike/addons' folder on your server and then feel free to configure your mod as you want as described in the description. To play this mod you will need EventScripts 2.0 and also the ES_Tools plugin of version .420. If you'd like to try it you can join this server when the mod is running on it: 220.127.116.11:27015 If you want to see what servers are running it click this link: Game-Monitor NB: to make sure it will be running fine add an "es_load etmod_2008" to your "autoexec.cfg" (sorry about the "server.cfg previously, my bad) config file wich can be found in the "/cstrike/cfg/" folder. Also remove any of the commands that can be found in the map config files present in the "/etmod_2008/server/configuration/" mod folder from the "cstrike/cfg/server.cfg" file if you want the mod configuration to be used (basically any "mp_" or "bot_" like commands. If you have some in your "server.cfg" file then those will be used all the time. Removing them from that file will allow the mod to use its own configuration and seperately for each map with a config file defined. When you'll unload the mod your previous config will be restaured automatically.
