It's time to rejoice! Crytek has released a patch updating Crysis Wars to v1.3. This patch weighs in at a hefty 210 megs and with the kind of changes it makes, it's well worth the download; Crysis Wars Patch (v1.3) fixes an issue where custom assets in downloaded maps did not load correctly, and also comes with an added bonus: a Holiday Map Pack!

New Power Struggle Map - Frost Recommended Players: 8-16

  • The frozen jungle environment finally makes it into Crysis Wars! Make the best of your environment in this infantry-focused map which provides incredibly tight match-ups. Enjoy the new version of the small prototype factory, featuring a third, sneaky entrance for more tactical encounters.

New Team Instant Action Map - Savanna Recommended Players: 26-32

  • Experience a new full vehicle Team Instant Action map, in a different, never-seen before setting of the African savanna. Will you be able to take advantage of the sniper positions or rule the map from the air? Use the destroyed train as an efficient cover or roam around the map with heavy tanks, this is your choice for fast, heart-pounding action.
  • What is the fix?
    • Custom assets in downloaded maps will now be loaded correctly

Some important information: "Do I need to have patch 1 and patch 2 installed before? No, that is not needed. If you have installed Crysis Wars recently you just download patch 3 since it includes all changes from the former patches as well. If you have Crysis Wars already updated to patch 1 or patch 2, then the patch 3 installation will work without any problems as well."

* Spread decrease of 15% while crouching (Gold: 0%)
* Spread decrease of 20% while proning (Gold: 15%)
* Spread increase of 100% while jumping (Gold: 25%)
* Recoil decrease of 15% while crouching (Gold: 0%)
* Recoil decrease of 30% while proning (Gold: 25%)
